You will not be charged extra if the project takes longer than quoted, unless you have requested additional tasks on top of the initial agreement or there is a brief change.
3. Popple Services requires 50% of the project fee to be paid in advance and then following completion invoices will be issued and must be paid within a 14 day pay window.
4. Any feedback on the written work provided must be received within one week. If you expect the feedback to take longer this must be agreed before the work is commissioned. You will be invoiced on the work within one week and this will need to be paid within the 14 day window.
5. Please note that unless pre-agreed in writing, under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, freelancers are entitled to a £40 late fee upon non-payment of debts after 30 days from invoice, at which point a new invoice will be submitted with the addition of this fee. If payment of the revised invoice is not received within a further 14 days, additional interest will be charged to the overdue account at a statutory rate of 8% plus Bank of England base rate of 0.1%, totalling 8.1%
6. Payment details will be provided on the official invoice sent to the client.
7. Copy writing quotes include one edit after the first submission. If you require further edits you may be charged extra.
8. Proofreading projects are quoted on a per word basis, but further expansion or explanation of the edits are included in the price for 30 days after completion.
9. Once you, the client, have accepted the work, Popple Services are not responsible for your customer feedback or any complaints received.
10. Refunds are only available in cases where Popple Services did not keep the agreed deadline of the projects for any reason except serious illness (hospitalisation), death, natural disaster or technical issue beyond our control. If such situations emerge, the client will be provided with the relevant evidence.
